Envisioning Future Development
From May 10 to 13, 2025, the 4th China International Gas Separation Industry Conference (GSIC 2025), organized by DT New Materials, was successfully held in Yangzhou, Jiangsu. As an acknowledged sponsor of the conference, NENGJING was invited to participate and set up an exhibition booth. Facing industry experts, research institutions, and supply chain partners, the company centrally showcased its core technological capabilities and systematic solutions in the fields of gas separation and CCUS.
This conference systematically presented cutting-edge basic research results and typical industrial application cases, focusing on key technical directions in gas separation such as absorption separation, membrane separation, and adsorption separation. Attendees included representatives from domestic and international research institutes, universities, energy and chemical enterprises, as well as relevant equipment and material suppliers. The main forum addressed industry trends and phased progress, while five specialized sessions discussed industrialization status and engineering challenges. Additionally, the conference specially established a "Young Scientists Forum", creating an efficient dialogue platform between young scientific forces and industrial needs, centering on frontier directions such as gas separation mechanism research, innovative material development, and gas detection and analysis.
Gas separation is a critical supporting technology for improving resource efficiency, reducing emissions, and enabling green, low-carbon transformation. Amid China's “Dual Carbon” goals and the global carbon market's growth, new absorbents, adsorbent materials, separation membrane materials, and matching low-energy, scalable engineering processes have become key areas of common concern for both industry and academia. The continuous emergence of young scientific forces has also injected sustained momentum into technological innovation and industrial upgrading in the gas separation sector.
A delegation led by Chairman Miao Qiang attended on behalf of NENGJING, participating in policy interpretation, market trend analysis, and separation technology symposia, with close attention to the Young Scientists Forum and academic achievement transformation. During the booth exchange session, NENGJING highlighted its industrial gas purification technologies and O&M solutions, represented by the JC series desulfurization/decarbonization solvents and QY series solvent purification equipment, engaging in extensive exchanges with experts from research institutions, universities, and enterprises.
