Inner Mongolia Sanwei New Material Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Sanwei Holding Group Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 603033), primarily engaged in the production and manufacturing of 1,4-butanediol (BDO). As an important basic chemical material, BDO is widely used in biodegradable materials, fine chemicals, and high-performance polymers. It is also one of the chemical materials with rapidly growing global demand and plays an important role in addressing the challenge of "white pollution" through sustainable material development.


To further improve resource utilization efficiency and optimize production processes, this project introduces a new hydrogen production unit through technical upgrading. The project utilizes calcium carbide furnace off-gas generated during BDO production as the feedstock for hydrogen production, enabling the resource-based utilization of industrial by-product gases. While maintaining the total production capacity, emissions, and energy consumption unchanged, the project achieves process optimization and enhances the utilization value of industrial by-product gases.


NENGJING Technology's independently developed JC Series decarbonization solvents are applied in the carbon capture section of this project. Through chemical absorption, the technology selectively captures CO2 from calcium carbide furnace off-gas, enabling efficient separation of carbon dioxide from syngas components and providing a stable and reliable gas source for the subsequent hydrogen production process to meet the requirements of the upgraded process. With excellent CO2 removal performance, high selectivity, and strong operational adaptability, the JC Series decarbonization solvents effectively contribute to improving the efficiency and stability of the hydrogen production system.


The implementation of this project represents an important practice in the resource utilization of industrial by-product gases and the development of green chemical industries. It will contribute to improving resource utilization efficiency and promoting the green and low-carbon transformation of the industrial value chain.
